German and U.S. standards apply to the entire building complex.
The elementary and high school, which opened in autumn 2015, is located near the Böblingen tank barracks in the Stuttgart region. The new building is complemented by separate gymnasiums, music and theatre rooms as well as outdoor facilities. This will create a pleasant living environment for up to 1,500 American students.
The building is considered a model project for German-American cooperation.
For properties with security requirements, it is important that the products are aesthetically integrated into the architecture. Thanks to decades of experience in the field of building security, SOMMER was able to meet this requirement
For the Elementary & High School in Böblingen, the A·T·F·P facade and SOKALTHERM® windows with pressure wave inhibiting properties were realised.
