SOMMER object protection grille

The SOMMER object protection grille O-S-G Barrier is designed to protect ventilation openings against external hazards while allowing air to flow through it. This type of object protection grille consists mainly of specially shaped blades enclosed in a frame. The entire grille is welded into a mounting frame that is set firmly in concrete in the wall. Small grilles are manufactured as one piece. Large grilles are divided depending on static requirements or logistical aspects and are welded together on site.

The grille element consists of round profiles arranged crosswise. The bars inserted into a frame provide a large free ventilation cross-section, with proven resistance to burglary in classes RC3 and RC4.

The SOMMER ventilation grille RC3 consists of horizontally inserted blades and offers burglary protection as well as protection against piercing and splashing water with a large ventilation cross-section. The grille can be fixed by means of a dowel connection in the reveal or screwed into the door leaf. The ventilation grille is tested and certified in resistance class RC3 according to EN 1627 and protection class IP44D according to EN 60529.

The SOMMER object protection grille made of fixed and horizontally inserted, specially shaped lamellas made of steel, which are welded at 40 mm intervals to a frame with a wall thickness of 6 mm, repel rain and provide visual protection. The louvre blades are tested according to EN 1627 and certified for resistance class RC6.
