The exhibit shows the demonstrator of the ‘Präklima‘ large-scale test element, which is based on a cooperation of the following project partners: DIE NETZ-WERKER, Priedemann, SOMMER and the TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY OF DRESDEN.
The Präklima element was developed on the basis of a modular, self-sufficient and energy-generating double-skin element facade and tested under real conditions over a period of approximately one year. Monitoring confirmed the functionality and learning ability of the self-learning algorithm of the control system.
The main components of the Präklima element are a window element with adjustable window opening and shading as well as a technical element with integrated photovoltaic hybrid air collector with mechanical ventilation and heat recovery and an electricity storage unit. All the technical components for conditioning the space were integrated into the facade element. The user-dependent individual change of the room climate is given.
