Bullet-resistant structural-glazing

This fair exhibit shows a bullet-resistant SG all-glass corner of bullet-resistance class FB7 based on our SOMMER MULTITHERM® series. Combinations of different requirements are almost unlimited - burglar resistance, bullet resistance, blast resistance.

  • Steel support structure (special feature: support structure located in the glass plane)
  • Series Sommer MULTITHERM®
  • Security level bullet-resistant FB7
  • Glass BR7 NS as 2-fold insulating glass in special construction
  • Face width of the SG joints 27 mm
    (taking into account the bullet-resistance requirement and static and structural-physical values)
  • Ψtj values 0.227 W/m (length-related heat transfer coefficient of the standard structure)
  • Further possible safety variants or combinations are possible
    • Burglar resistance according to DIN EN 1627
    • Break-out resistance according to DIN EN 1627
    • Pressure wave resistance depending on object requirements and coordination
