From November 28th to 30th, 2023, SOMMER was represented for the second time at the nuclear technology trade fair, the WNE, in Paris. We proudly presented two exhibits with our own exhibition stand: models of a security door and an object protection grille.
The WNE not only offered the platform for interesting discussions with potential customers, valuable partners and important suppliers, but also for a special event: It was an extraordinary honor for us to receive the ISO 19443 certificate. This award, presented by TÜV SÜD France to Oliver Sommer, recognises our established quality management system for products and services in the nuclear sector.
As the third company in Germany to be certified with ISO 19443, this underlines our commitment to a reliable supply chain and our continued commitment to the highest standards. ISO 19443:2018 certification is extremely important to us as it allows us to manage our quality management systems more effectively and ensure the exact conformity of our products and services with the specific requirements of our customers. This certification complements ISO 9001 and offers us essential guidelines to respond flexibly and safely to the requirements of the dynamic market for nuclear technology components.
The WNE 2023 presented a fascinating insight into nuclear technology, showed the current status of nuclear fusion and offered a platform for operators, planners and suppliers to exchange ideas about future energy generation projects. As an established player in nuclear object protection, we have once again proven this year that our portfolio and expertise are indispensable for the industry.
