After the welcome, the Rotarians were given a comprehensive presentation that gave them an insight into SOMMER's diverse activities and projects. The presentation showed how SOMMER ensures the highest safety standards and modern façade systems worldwide.
Following the presentation, the managing directors took the participants on a tour of the production facilities together with Mr Böhm, Head of Training and Further Education. The tour gave the guests the opportunity to experience the production processes and security solutions at close quarters. The visitors were particularly impressed by the variety of products manufactured, ranging from fire doors to complex high-security systems.
The Rotary Club, an association of now 55 committed individuals who are committed to social projects and the exchange of ideas in the Hof/Bavarian Vogtland region, showed great interest in the insights into the company. The members of the Rotary Club use such visits to get to know local companies better and to establish networks that bring both economic and social benefits to the region.
After the company tour, SOMMER invited the guests to a small snack. The Rotarians were able to chat to the managing directors in a relaxed atmosphere. The stimulating discussions and intensive exchange of ideas contributed to a successful evening, which not only strengthened the relationship between SOMMER and the Rotary Club, but also provided new impetus for future co-operation.
The visit of the Rotary Club Hof-Bayerisches Vogtland to SOMMER was a complete success and once again emphasised the importance of local partnerships and mutual exchange. SOMMER is looking forward to working closely with the Rotarians in the future and realising joint projects that benefit both the economy and society.
