Successful topping-out ceremony

On May 3, 2023, Die Continentale welcomed around 450 guests to the topping-out ceremony in Dortmund. From spring 2025, the ensemble of three buildings will be able to offer around 1,900 employees a great view of Dortmund through our facades.

The highlight of the building will be the 16th floor, where room-high facade elements will create an impressive ambience in the 67-metre-high building.

In order to enable material recycling, all building materials and components in this new building are checked for reuse and documented in a material pass. In addition, the new offices will have a geothermal system, photovoltaic systems and partial greening of the roofs. The aim is to use these measures to obtain the gold certification from the German Sustainable Building Council.
