After more than 33 years of successful work in our company, our long-standing Sales Manager for the Building Security Division, Mr Bernd Geißler has retired from all direct SOMMER operational activity as of 1 January 2023. We would like to thank him very much for his highly successful work in the company and especially for his many achievements in the continuous development of the Building Security Division. His extraordinary product knowledge - particularly in the area of product explosion resistance - and his ability to explain complex technical processes, to clients and architects have been pivotal to the continued success of the Building Security Division.
We are therefore particularly pleased that Bernd Geißler will utilise all of his experience and continue to contribute to the SOMMER business in a technical consultant and advisory role. Mr Geißler will be succeeded by Mr Stefan Burkel who is a highly experienced sales professional with commensurately high levels of technical understanding. Mr Burkel will be fully committed to SOMMER's core competence of finding constructive solutions in building security for our customers and thus further develop our market position as the leading company in security technology.
Consequently we are very pleased to announce that Mr Stefan Burkel has taken over the Management of Building Security Sales Division from the 01 January 2023. We wish Mr Burkel a good start with SOMMER and we look forward to a continuation of the existing successful cooperation with you as our business partners.
