The Jewish Academy planned by Turkali Architekten is currently being built in Frankfurt/Main. The academy sees its main task in taking up and initiating public discourse and thus giving the Jewish voice in Germany a recognisable profile. A wide range of educational and cultural programmes will deepen the dialogue between religion, cultures and politics.
Due to the increase in anti-semitic incidents, the building envelope of the Jewish Academy requires a special security standard to protect people and the building from the effects of attacks.
SOMMER creates project-specific solutions that combine security, cost-effectiveness, attractiveness and sustainability. The SOMMER MULTITHERM® system used here, supplemented by SOMMER FU sliding and revolving doors, provides the building with the appropriate security standard, which is also optimally integrated into the formal specifications of the architecture.
