High-ranking representatives of Électricité de France (EDF), the largest energy producer and supplier in France, and its subsidiary Edvance paid us a visit in Döhlau last week.
During this visit, we were presented with the strategic cornerstones of France's new nuclear programme, known as "le plan d'excellence". Particular attention was paid to the planned construction of six state-of-the-art EPR2 power plants at three different locations.
The primary goal of this meeting was to further deepen our already excellent business relationships and to develop a long-term common perspective. We were given the valuable opportunity to present our company as a manufacturer of complex security gates, doors, security grilles and flaps and to contribute our core competencies.
With regard to the most sensitive areas of infrastructural important facilities such as nuclear power plants, we offer outstanding services in physical building protection, from planning to professional installation.
It fills us with great pride that we were able to convey our extensive competencies and expertise on this special day and at the same time had the opportunity to discuss future tenders for doors and flaps.
This inspiring dialogue makes us expect a promising future in which we can support important projects and thus make our contribution to a low-carbon energy supply. We look forward to the upcoming challenges and opportunities in this industry.
